Privacy Policy
Japanese Idioms: YojiKoma · com.roaco.yojijukugo
This policy covers the app’s official information pages and support enquiries, and use of the app after release. Established on 1 October 2026.
1. Operator and scope
ARABEKUTO,K.K. (the “Company”), at 4-23-6 Takanawa, Minato-ku, Tokyo 108-0074, Japan, provides Japanese Idioms: YojiKoma (com.roaco.yojijukugo). This policy covers this app, its official information pages and related support enquiries, separately from the Company’s other apps.
Personal information manager: Representative Director 窪道弘幸. Contact for support and information or deletion requests: support@arabect.jp.
2. Local information and intended users
The app is intended for children and adults. Records of lessons read, quiz answers and information needed for review, and display settings are stored on your device for learning functions. The app has no feature that uploads those learning records or answers to the Company’s servers or RevenueCat.
No separate app account, name or email entry is required. Parents or guardians may contact us about a child’s information. Children should contact support with a parent or guardian and should not send unnecessary details such as their name, school or address. Purchase-related processing is separate from local learning records and is described next.
3. Purchases and SDK communication
Google Play and RevenueCat are used for purchases, restoration and entitlement checks. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app user identifier, purchase history, purchase verification information, entitlements and technical information about the SDK and app. Connections transmit information such as the IP address to the receiving service. An anonymous identifier does not mean no information potentially relating to a person is processed.
These data are used to provide purchasing functions, restore purchases, prevent misuse and understand purchase status. SDK initialization or entitlement checks may communicate even if you do not make a purchase. Payment information such as card numbers is handled through Google Play’s payment process; we do not request it in the app.
The app has no feature that displays ads. The app does not independently supply advertising IDs or learning records as RevenueCat customer attributes. This does not disable purchase identifiers or purchase history.
4. Backups and permissions
You can manually export a password-protected encrypted backup to a location chosen through Android’s file picker. If you choose cloud storage, that provider’s terms and information handling also apply. This is not automatic cloud sync by the Company.
Manage the file and password yourself. Android automatic app backup is disabled. Restoring learning records replaces the current records and does not restore purchase rights, display language or color theme. It is separate from restoring a purchase.
5. Retention, deletion and security
Local records and settings remain until you clear app data in Android, uninstall the app or otherwise remove them. Exported backups remain outside the app and must be deleted separately at their storage location.
Purchase-related information necessary for entitlement confirmation and restoration is handled for as long as its purpose continues and only to the extent necessary. Where legal retention or dispute handling is required, it is limited to that purpose. We do not promise permanent retention of all purchase data or immediate deletion of every copy, including service-provider backups.
We use measures such as encrypted backups, but do not claim that all local information is independently encrypted by the app.
6. International processing, rights and changes
Purchase-related data are sent to RevenueCat, Inc., a US company, and may be processed outside your country, including in the United States, by RevenueCat and its sub-processors. You can consult its Data Processing Addendum and sub-processor information. Google handles Google Play payment information. This is not automatic overseas upload of learning records. We do not promise that all storage and processing takes place only in Japan.
You may contact us about access, correction, deletion and other rights under applicable law, withdrawal of consent-based processing, or concerns raised by a parent or guardian. Rights that apply where you live are not restricted. Important changes will be announced on this page and, where appropriate, in the app.
7. Support information
Email support uses the email service for the Company’s corporate support address. We handle the sender’s email address, message and voluntarily supplied information to reply, carry out necessary verification and investigate issues.
After app release, the app’s email template automatically includes the app name, Application ID, version and build type. You can review and edit these together with your category and message before sending. The website template leaves device and version details for you to enter optionally. Composing a message does not send it, and learning records, logs and files are not attached automatically. We do receive information you choose to attach and send. Do not send passwords, card numbers or unnecessary personal information.
We may request the minimum information needed to verify an information, correction or deletion request. Deleting local records, deleting purchase-related data and refunds are separate processes. We cannot necessarily delete all records independently held by Google Play. If deletion could affect purchase restoration, we will explain that before acting.
For requests to access, correct or delete information, we generally notify you of the result within 30 days after completing necessary identity verification. We retain support and deletion-request handling records for three years after the case is completed, subject to any earlier deletion duty or deadline under applicable law. This policy concerns case-handling records, not purchase history as a whole.
8. External services and the website
Google Play, RevenueCat and the email provider handle information according to their roles and agreements. RevenueCat’s processing and sub-processing of purchase-related information are described in its published DPA and sub-processor list. The name of an agreement alone does not establish identical terms in every region.
The corporate website is delivered through Azure Static Web Apps. Its hosting provider’s descriptions also apply to information processed when serving the site. We have not added advertising or analytics scripts to this app’s information pages.
These resources do not replace the explanation specific to this app.
